About the Initiative
As winter temperatures drop across Bangladesh, thousands of underprivileged families, elderly individuals, and street children face harsh weather without adequate clothing or shelter. The Winter Warmth Drive 2026–2027 is an ongoing humanitarian initiative by the Farhana Afroz Foundation aimed at distributing high-quality blankets, sweaters, and
warm garments to those most in need.
Key Objectives & Impact
• Cold Weather Relief: Distribute blankets, heavy jackets, and thermal wear to vulnerable communities in low-income and rural regions.• Child & Elderly Protection: Focus on protecting children, women, and elderly citizens who are most vulnerable to winter-related health complications.• Restoring Dignity: Ensure that every recipient receives dignified, clean, and durable winter clothing.
How We Work
1. Identification: Our volunteer network conducts field surveys in rural and slum communities to identify families living without proper shelter or warm gear.2. Procurement & Quality Check: High-quality blankets and warm garments are sourced and packed into complete winter packages.3. Direct Distribution: Volunteers directly hand out packages on-site to ensure full transparency and reach the most affected individuals.
How You Can Help
Your contribution can shield a family from severe cold this winter:
